So we thought we would look at some different ares of Liverpool.

Allerton

This is a popular area for families and lies 3 miles south of the city. It is a town in itself with good schools, nightlife and transport links, with properties that can be on the larger side with decent sized gardens.

Ropewalks

This is as city centre as it gets and therefore attracts a lot of young professionals and wealthier students, because of its proximity to the nightlife. The housing stock consists of flats, whereas houses are few and far between.

Baltic Triangle

This is considered one of the more fashionable areas of Liverpool, so attractive to young professionals. Bars and restaurants are on the quirky side and accommodation on the pricier side.

Lark Lane

This area is popular with students, young professional and younger families. Prices are more affordable so popular with those wanting to get on the property ladder. It has a variety of bars and restaurants (some very international in style) and gyms.

The Georgian Quarter

This is considered a very cultural place to live, because of its proximity to the Liverpool Philharmonic hall and Everyman Theatre. It is attractive to the stylish of the middle class and comes with good schools nearby and is close to the city centre.

Anfield

Anfield is obviously famous for Liverpool FC. But it is not just about football, as is a hot area in it own right and prices are really going up.  Property investors,  entrepreneurs and professionals have all descended on the area, helped by a £260 million regeneration project.

Aigburth

This is one of the more expensive areas and sits alongside the river Mersey. The houses can be larger so it is attractive for families, but the many trendy bars means lots of professionals also live in the area.

Woolton

Woolton is a very middle class area of Liverpool, which once was a separate town. It still has that feel and is attractive to families.
